Get to know me….

Growing up in a small town on the west coast of Sweden, my first style influences were by Scandinavian cool, practical and simplistic style. However, studying Fashion Design and living in Italy, is where I truly learned and developed a strong sense of style and love for, fashion and well designed garments, and the fine arts.

Now I’m lucky to call Maui, Hawaii home. The easy, simple lifestyle gives room for a lot of creativity. The low-key elegance and style of living on a tropical island keeps me grounded, and I think it is something that is ever present in my artwork.

Places traveled is such an inspiration, and I wish I could do it more. It brings in the new and a different perspective. I guess I travel a lot in my mind;-)

Watercolor Fashion Surf Lifestyle Hawaii Artist Lovisa Oliv — *About..*

Lovisa is a Maui based artist/illustrator who use her stylistic fashion illustration to elaborate onto her artwork into lifestyle and surf art.
Born and raised in Sweden, she moved on to study fashion design and illustration in Florence, Italy and New York City. Now landed in Hawaii, she brings that work, life and inspiration balance to create her unique, smooth and luscious artworks.
Lovisa’s unmistakable and sophisticated style has brought her work to grace the pages of magazines for product packaging and marketing material. She also entertains with live drawing, and has worked with such notable clients as Dior and Armani.
